I've just lost my left pinky finger after an infection, that required it to be amputated. In the period of five days, it started to desheath its skin, drip puss, smell bad, and scare the weans. This cocci infection( new to me) knocked ten bells out of me. I've only just stopped the oral Anti Biotics, meaning this blog could happen. While being eternally thankful for our NHS, I sussed how under pressure the staff there, are. I am now really thankful that it wasn't my thumb! The friction, which is viewed on my Mri image, and I believe it to be the same for all, was caused by the calcified area, of that damaged OB:Occipital Bone, at childhood. In addition, the change to blood flow, of Thalamus and HT: Hypothalamus,means that flow would worsen due to it "furring up", over time.
